David Hale

Born in Miami, Florida, David has served churches as music director in Florida, Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee . He holds a BM in Music Education from Carson-Newman College, MCM from Southwestern Theological Seminary and MM from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to serving churches he has served as Chairman of the Music Department at Clear Creek Baptist College and served on the music faculties of Eastern Kentucky University, Tusculum College and East Tennessee State University.
David and his wife Becky enjoy traveling and have visited all seven continents. They live in Elizabethton and have one son Doug who lives with his family in Scottsboro, Alabama.

Dr. Marianna Brickle

Marianna Brickle holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Maryland, and Master and Doctor of Music degrees from Florida State University. She has been an active church musician since age 11, playing violin, piano, and singing in choir. Before moving to Johnson City from Florida, Marianna served as a church musician for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, and was formerly the church pianist for Antioch Baptist Church. She was also a contracted violinist for the Tallahassee Symphony, Ocala Symphony, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, and Valdosta Symphony. Marianna currently serves as staff pianist at Milligan University. Marianna and her husband David perform together as the Brickle Duo, which has performed in places including Florida, New York, and Puerto Rico.

Dr. David Brickle

David joined the staff of Westminster Presbyterian Church as pianist during the summer of 2020. He is also an Assistant Professor of Music at Milligan University teaching piano and music theory. Previously, he served as pianist for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee, FL for six years. His academic credentials include Doctor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano performance as well as completion of the Graduate Specialized Studies Program in Pedagogy of Music Theory at Florida State University. He completed his undergraduate studies in his home state of South Carolina earning a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance at the University of South Carolina.

Willette Ericson

Julie Bicknell

Julie is a lifelong resident of Johnson City, TN. She attended East Tennessee State University majoring in Accounting and worked for twenty years in financials before joining the staff at Westminster in 2010.
She married her childhood sweetheart Bob in April 1990. Bob volunteered in Children’s Ministry until 2015 and is currently employed as a computer programmer at Ballad Health. Together they have been blessed to raise a nephew, take care of family, and shelter numerous rescue animals.

Ray Whiteman

Ray was born in Williamsport, Indiana on Dec. 29, 1949. He served in the Army for five and a half year, with two tours of Southeast Asia and other wonderful areas.
